Research
My research focuses on everyday human judgment: How do people assess what they and others are like, what the future has in store, and what events in the past “really mean"? I am particularly interested in those processes of judgment that lead people to misread the evidence of their own experience and thus lead them to draw erroneous conclusions, form questionable beliefs, and embark on dubious courses of action.
