Academic focus:
The development, evaluation and dissemination of engaging, scalable online mental health programs for children and families.
Current research project:
I’m planning the next phase of research on Children of Divorce–Coping with Divorce (CoD-CoD), using a dismantling design to identify which features and mechanisms accounted for the program’s unusually high participant engagement rates. The goal is to use those findings to make future online mental health programs more engaging and more likely to be completed.

Spending time with my three young children hunting critters in fields, creeks, lakes and puddles. Coaching youth sports, playing basketball on campus in the afternoons, trail running and tackling home-improvement projects.

What most excites you about Cornell:
I’m an alum, so returning to Cornell feels like coming home. I’m most excited by the chance to work with Cornell's exceptionally motivated students and thoughtful colleagues, and to develop courses that help students use psychological science to improve the well-being and mental health of themselves and others.
