Why did you choose Cornell?
I had done all the research, looked at all the statistics and asked everyone's advice, but when it came down to it, I felt at home at Cornell the moment I came to visit.
What is your main Cornell extracurricular activity -- why is it important to you?
I'm a member of HAVEN, Cornell's LGBTQ+ Student Union. I think it's important to create an environment that welcomes people of diverse backgrounds and identities, where people actively try learn from each other and challenge their own assumptions.
If you were to offer advice to an incoming first year student, what would you say?
Join clubs! It will help you meet people with similar interests, and they're fun.
